The new
JIS Park Grünheide (just in sequence) is developed by Fixemer GmbH. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the factory premises of Tesla Manufacturing Brandenburg SE within the GVZ-Ost.
JIS Park Grünheide is optimally linked to the intermodal transport infrastructure by motorway and rail connections. Due to its immediate proximity to the new Tesla plant in Berlin-Brandenburg, it offers a unique opportunity to integrate suppliers just in sequence as a component of a localisation strategy in front of the plant gates.
Short distances promote the rapid exchange of services and products, efficient processes and smooth logistics between production and deliveries. The realisation of the new JIS Park Grünheide will create a perfect infrastructure and an advanced supply chain at the gates of the car manufacturer's plant, which will improve the competitive position of the customers in the long term. In order to further increase productivity and digitalise the supply chain, the realisation of a delivery to the Tesla plant from the JIS Park by electrically powered autonomous trucks is also currently being examined.
The JIS Park with its short distances from the supplier's halls to the production facilities of Tesla Manufacturing Brandenburg SE ensures the on-time delivery of parts and thus directly creates production reliability for the mid-range SUV "Y" and any future further vehicle models from Tesla. It will also contribute significantly to saving resources and relieving the infrastructure in the region. The parallel planning of the JIS park during the planning and realisation of the new Tesla plant ensures that the delivery processes interlock seamlessly.
