SQAS Safety and Quality Assessment System

The Safety and Quality Assessment System, SQAS, is a standard managed by the European Chemical Industry Council especially for logistics providers.

SQAS goes beyond the requirements of ISO 9001, whilst elements of the certification in accordance with ISO 14001 are also integrated. The SQAS questionnaire covers all valid regulations and management principles for transport and logistics services.

The object of the SQAS standard includes the following criteria:

  • Safety
  • Environmental sustainability

Environmental management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001

DIN EN ISO 14001 is the key standard in environmental management.

The environmental management is structured similarly to DIN EN ISO 9001, but places the emphasis on

  • environmental awareness
  • environmental technology

The certification for operational environmental management aims to promote environmental protection and to prevent environmental impact.
